Boston Seminar Update

Due to the impact of the corona virus, we have had to make some changes to the National Board Review Course, March 27-29, 2020.

Dental Hygiene Seminar has given careful consideration to the issues we are facing. Our first concern is to protect the health of our attendees, the second is to be able to deliver all the necessary material for preparing for the Board exam in an efficient and professional manner.

Forsyth has closed their conference center to all large gatherings – which, of course, includes our review course. We have arranged an alternate way to deliver the seminar, virtually.

We have a video presentation of the entire DHS Review Course which we will be able to stream into classrooms/ or onto individual devices, the same weekend of the original seminar – March 27 – 29, 2020. The presentations will include all of the DHS speakers, their topics and Power Point slides. By doing this, we can address both of our concerns – your safety and preparation for the Board.

We want each of you to make an informed decision on what you would like to do. We have three options available to you:

  1. Receive a full refund for the cost of the seminar. Full disclosure: A full refund can take us up to 10 business days to process and another 2-3 business days to show up in your account.
  2. Receive a copy of the DHS book for a cost of $200. We will send you a refund from your original registration fee, minus $200 for the cost of the book, including shipping. If you choose this option, please provide us an address that we can ship your book to. It will be coming through priority mail.
  3. Allow you to attend the streamed-in review course March 27-29. You will receive a copy of the DHS book prior to March 27, as well as access to the DHS Mock Board, DHS app, weekly newsletters from the DHS professor, and complimentary Dental Post Premium Job Seeker Account ($99 value!) For all students that choose this option, we will send out a letter with the link to join the seminar and a schedule of our seminar. We will attempt to keep it as close to the same schedule as it would be if we were actually doing our seminar in person.

The fastest way for us to get your book to you is to be able to send it to your school. If you and one or more of your classmates are planning to receive the book we will need to know your school, the address of your school and who we can address the shipment to at the school.

Please send an email to : before Friday, March 21 directing as with your wishes. This will enable us time to send books and know which students have chosen the streaming option. Once we receive your option, we will send further instructions about streaming the seminar and book delivery.

Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time.
